2024 Miscellaneous Roadway Repairs and Overlays Project

The City of Lakeville is proposing to resurface asphalt pavement on approximately 2.4 miles of residential streets in 2024. This project generally includes pavement milling and overlay, partial curb replacement, spot sidewalk replacement, ADA pedestrian ramp updates, watermain corrosion protection and minor storm sewer repairs.

Project Timeline

  • Fall 2023: Preliminary engineering
  • Winter 2023/2024: Final design
  • February 21, 2024: Receive and publicly open bids
  • March 4, 2024: City Council to review bids and consider award of contract
  • April-September 2024: Construction
    • Note: Schedule subject to change, more details will be posted on this webpage when available

Private Features Within City Right-of-Way

  • Lawn irrigation or sprinkler systems
  • Pet containment systems
  • Landscaping and plantings

If you wish to protect private features from damage during construction, please temporarily remove them from the City right-of-way. See the video below for more details.
