    Beginning/Intermediate level

    Demonstrations will cover hand-building and basic wheel-throwing techniques for beginners, as well as more advanced concepts for intermediate students. Students work at their own pace with both individualized and group instruction. Bring an old towel.

  1. Driver Safety Class 4 hour Refresher-CANCELED

    The Minnesota Highway Safety & Research Center conducts driver safety classes at the Heritage Center. Drivers 55+ may be eligible for a 10% discount on their auto insurance. An 8-hour course is initially required, followed by a 4-hour refresher class every three years. Register online at webtrac.lakevillemn.gov, then select “Active Adults,” then “Classes & Events,” or call 1-888-234-1294, and tell them you would like a class in Lakeville.

    For newborn-6 years
    Infant under 8 months on the first day of the session are free with a registered sibling. Free infant must be born after July 29, 2019. All infants, whether siblings or not, are welcome.

    Music Together Online brings joy, laughter AND music into your home. This program teaches parents/caregivers how to interact musically with your child as it engages and delights them.

    Participating families receive:
    —Three 15-20 minute ‘musical play dates’ (mini classes) each week for 10 weeks, one live via Zoom and two prerecorded
    —A professionally recorded CD and download of a song collection along with a corresponding songbook/storybook with illustrations
    —“Music and Your Child: A Guide for Parents and Caregivers,” an overview of early childhood music development designed to help you help your child get the most our of our classes
    —Loads of music making activity ideas to do at home, including downloadable and printable material
